We will remove dead animals from all publicly accessible areas. The service applies to all public sites and adopted roads managed by the council. We do not remove dead animals from private property.

Domestic animals
Domestic pets such as cats and dogs are checked for identification to establish details of the owner. This includes using a scanner to check for a microchip and searching the national database.
When details are found we will contact the owner or keeper to arrange for them to identify and collect their pet.
