Within the Garden of Remembrance, surrounding the Silver Birch Copse, are around 1100 roses.
The price of the initial grant includes the provision of our gold-coloured, standard plaque. There is also the option to upgrade to a classic or bronze plaque.
Our gardeners maintain the roses and the rose bed during the lease period. They will also replace the rose should the need arise, depending on supply and planting season.
New plaques are fixed to existing roses.

To assist in the maintenance and the health of the roses, you must only place freshly cut flowers at the base of a rose tree.
Do not:
- place on or attach any items to the rose or its stake
- plant anything in the beds as this can damage the irrigation system
- spray roses as this can interfere with the chemicals we use to treat pests and diseases
