Bracknell Forest Community Climate Action (BFCCA) is organising the event with help from Bracknell Forest Council and sponsorship from Easthampstead Park.

The summit will bring together local people, community groups and organisations to share their progress, ideas and successes in tackling climate change.

You can drop in at any time that suits you.

Talks from local organisations and residents

The main talk, plus two sessions of short talks will be repeated in the afternoon and evening.

The main talk will be about what BFCCA and Easthampstead Park are doing.

The short talk sessions will cover:

  • what local residents are doing to decarbonise their homes, travel more sustainably, support nature and reduce their waste
  • sustainability topics from local organisations:
    • parish and town councils
    • Crowthorne Reduce Our Waste
    • University of Reading
    • Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Marketplace stalls

There will also be a marketplace with stalls throughout the event. These will offer information on local sustainability projects that you can get involved in. You can even get your bike checked and fixed for free at the Dr Bike stall.
