Join us at Bracknell Library for a free, creative family workshop celebrating freedom inspired by trees.

Bracknell Forest is full of trees - and just like trees, freedom means having space to grow, feel strong and reach for the sky.

At this relaxed, family-friendly event, our friendly tutor-artist will be asking what does freedom mean to you? You’ll be invited to decorate your own paper leaf with words or drawings inspired by your thoughts. All the leaves will come together to create our very own Reading Freedom Trees, which will be displayed in libraries across Bracknell Forest for everyone to enjoy.

This event is part of Bracknell Forest Libraries’ Our Freedom: Then and Now project, one of many special events happening across the country to mark the end of the Second World War through artistic projects and community events.

Suitable for age 5 and above.
