Learn about hedge laying on this 2 day course run by the Hedge and Woodland Conservationists group and our rangers.

The course is for beginners and people with some knowledge of hedge laying.

Some tools will be available, but bring your own if you can. Useful tools to bring are:

  • loppers
  • bowsaws
  • billhooks
  • gloves

Sessions run from 10am to 3pm with a break halfway through. You will need to bring your own food and drink.

Cost

The course costs £15 per person. This covers both days. It costs the same amount if you can only attend one day.

There are 12 places available, and you will be put into 6 groups of 2 people. Places are on a first come first served basis. 

There will be a waiting list if we are oversubscribed.

Cancellation

This course will only be run if weather conditions are suitable. If we need to cancel, we will let you know the day before. 

If we have to cancel the event, we will give you a full refund.
