Armed Forces Day is a national celebration to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community. From currently serving troops, to reservists, service families, veterans and cadets.
This year it falls on Saturday 28 June, concluding a week of events and activities across the country.

Bring your flags, drinks and snacks and join us for a free afternoon of musical entertainment to mark Armed Forces Day.
When: Saturday 28 June, from midday
Where: Bond Square, The Lexicon
The Sing Healthy Choir will perform a medley of show tunes from the 1920s and beyond. The Candy Girls will delight you with classics from the 1940s and 1950s, plus some modern hits with a retro twist.
Show times are:

We will be joined by The Royal British Legion and The Royal Naval Association. We are also running a free children’s craft activity. There is something for everyone to help show our appreciation and celebrate our armed forces.
Celebrate in your community
We encourage you to take part in Armed Forces Day by attending local events, flying a flag or simply taking a moment to thank those who serve.
The Armed Forces Flag will be flown at the council’s Time Square office and the office will be lit up in red, white and blue.
You are invited to a flag-raising ceremony at Sandhurst Memorial Park on Monday 23 June at 2pm.
