What to expect

The Bracknell Forest Communities Festival is inspired by the ambitions of Bracknell Forest's Stronger Together Communities Strategy. It celebrates the people, organisations and volunteers who help strengthen connections across the borough.

At the festival you will:

  • meet more than 25 local community groups and organisations
  • discover volunteering and community opportunities
  • learn about local support services
  • explore cultural and community organisations
  • take part in family-friendly activities
  • connect with people from across Bracknell Forest
  • enjoy live entertainment throughout the afternoon, including:
    • Bob Marley classics from Matthew Allman
    • energetic modern dance
    • bhangra beats from Dhol Collective
    • dance floor hits from party favourites JB MAC

  • Midday - welcome and opening speech from His Worshipful Mayor of Bracknell Forest, Cllr. Peter Frewer
  • 12:05pm to 12:15pm - Albanian Childrens Dance
  • 12:20pm to 12:50pm - Artemis Studios
  • 12:55pm to 1:05pm - Nepalease dancers
  • 1:30pm to 1:40pm - Indian Community Association Bracknell, Indian Dancers
  • 1:45pm to 2.35pm - Matthew Allman
  • 2:40pm to 3:10pm - Dance Xcite
  • 3:15pm - 4:05pm - Dhol Collective
  • 4:10pm - 5pm - JB MAC
  • 5pm - event close

Music and entertainment

We will be showcasing some of the borough’s best music and dance acts on stage. The performances begin at midday, so come early to grab a seat for the unmissable show!
