The Leisure Saver Scheme offers savings on specific leisure activities at Bracknell Leisure Centre and Downshire Golf Complex.
Eligibility
You can apply to join the Leisure Saver Scheme if you live in the borough of Bracknell Forest and receive one or more of the benefits listed below:
- housing benefit
- working tax credits
- income support
- job seeker's allowance (income based)
- employment and support allowance (income based )
- new claimants on Universal Credit
Dependents of applicants are also eligible for the scheme if they permanently live at the same address.
How to apply
You need to have an e+ card before you apply to join the Leisure Saver Scheme. If you do not have an e+ card, please apply for one. The e+ card is free.
To have the Leisure Saver Scheme added to your e+ card, you need to take proof of your eligibility to either Bracknell Leisure Centre or Downshire Golf Complex.
Acceptable forms of proof are:
- Universal Credit proof of entitlement letter
- awards letter
- order book
You must also present some form of identity (such as a utility bill) showing your name, address and postcode.
You need to renew your membership of the Leisure Saver Scheme every 12 months.
Terms and conditions of the scheme
The Leisure Saver Scheme is part of the e+ scheme, and as such the e+ terms and conditions apply.
The Leisure Saver Scheme is renewable every 12 months.
The e+ card must be presented every time the Leisure Saver Scheme is use.
The Leisure Saver Scheme is not transferable.
Bracknell Forest Council reserve the right to amend the scheme, alter the discount rate, change the availability of facilities and/or activities or cancel the scheme without notice.
The discounts offered by the Leisure Saver Scheme only apply at specified facilities and for specified activities.
Membership of the Leisure Saver Scheme does not entitle the user to advanced booking privileges although day membership will not be added to the price.
Bracknell Forest Council reserve the right to refuse an application for the Leisure Saver Scheme, or withdraw its use if the conduct of the scheme member is considered to be inappropriate.

The last entry into the fitness suite, swimming pools and Forest Spa will be permitted 30 minutes before the end of the session.
No pre-booking is permitted for racquet sports.
Non member prices will be charged for any sports and swimming courses booked.
Off-peak is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday after 2pm.
Standard non-member rates apply at all other times.
Swimming
- Adult - £1.55 (£1.65 from 1 April 2024)
- Under 16 or over 67 - £1.05 (£1.10 from 1 April 2024)
Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 year or over. A maximum of 2 children per adult is permitted.
Track
- Adult - 70 pence (75 pence fro 1 April 2024)
- Child under 16 - 50 pence (55 pence from 1 April 2024)
Track sessions are subject to availability.
Fitness suite
- Weekends (before 2pm) - £2.70
- Off peak (9am to 5pm) - £2.40
You must be 16 years or over to use the gym.
Squash
These are 40 minute sessions.
- Off peak adult - £3.35 (£3.55 from 1 April 2024)
- Off peak child - £2.80 (£3 from 1 April 2024)
Badminton
These are 55 minute sessions.
- Off peak adult - £4.55 (£4.85 from 1 April 2024)
- Off peak child - £3.35 (£3.55 from 1 April 2024)
Table Tennis
These are 40-minute or 55-minute sessions.
- Weekends before 2pm - £1.80 (£1.90 from 1 April 2024)
- Off peak adult - £1.70 (£1.80 from 1 April 2024)
- Off peak under 16 or over 64 - £1.60 (£1.70 from 1 April 2024)
Forest Spa
- Weekends (before 2pm) - £3.20
- Off peak - £2.85
You must be 18 years or over to use the spa.

- Adult - Monday to Friday - £7.45 (£7.95 from 1 April 2024)
- Adult - Monday to Friday - dusk rate - £5.20 (£5.55 from 1 April 2024)
- Under 16 and over 64 - Monday to Friday - £5.10 (£5.45 from 1 April 2024)
- Under 16 and over 64 - Monday to Friday - dusk rate - £3.10 (£3.30 from 1 April 2024)
