The council proposes to make an order under Sections 82(2), 84(1) and 84(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effects of the order
The effects of the order are to introduce the new lengths of speed limits as detailed in Schedules 1 and 2.
Schedule 1
20 miles per hour speed limit
For Maize Lane from its junction with Warfield Street southwards for a distance of 90 metres.
Schedule 2
20 miles per hour speed limit zone
For Maize Lane from its junction with Harvest Ride northwards for a distance of 370 metres and for the entire length of the following roads:
- Bellcroft
- Bellis Mews
- Betula Close
- Bronze Close
- Buckland Drive
- Calla Place
- Chime Close
- Melody Lane
All distances are approximate and, where applicable, are taken from the centre of the stated junctions.
