Railcards for 16 and 17 year olds

Young people aged 16 and 17 are able to buy a railcard for £30 which gives them a 50% discount on rail travel at any time. For more information, visit the 16-17 Saver website

Subsidised railcards

The council offers a subsidised railcard as an alternative to a bus pass for residents aged over 65 and for disabled people who are renewing their railcard.

These railcards give holders a third off most standard and first class rail fares across Great Britain for a whole year.

Please note that you cannot hold a bus pass and a subsidised railcard at the same time.
