Make a difference as a school governor
Are you passionate about education and would like to become one of our governors?
We have a vacancy for:
- 1 foundation governor
- 1 co-opted governor
Co-opted governors are appointed by us, the governing board. Foundation governors are appointed by the diocese.
We appoint co-opted governors that have the right skills to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school.
The diocese appoint foundation governors to support and develop the school's C of E foundation and Christian vision.
Both types of governor carry out the same core role. A foundation governor has the extra duty of making sure the Christian ethos of the school is reflected in the way it leads, manages and meets the needs of all learners.
