Me, You and Baby Too
A free, online course to help new and expecting parents with the changes that happen in their relationship when a baby arrives.
To access this course you will need to register.
Breastfeeding advice drop-in
This service is provided by the Health Visitor Team.
This is a drop-in service for advice and support with breastfeeding.
- The Alders on Fridays, midday to 3pm
You can just turn up, there’s no need to book. If you have any questions about this drop-in, contact the Health Visitor team.
Baby weigh clinics
This service is provided by the Health Visitor team.
These are drop-in sessions where you can come and weigh your baby and to speak to a health visitor:
- The Alders on Mondays - 9:30am to 11:30am
- Priestwood Community Centre on Tuesdays - 11:30am to 1pm
- The Oaks on Wednesdays - 9:30am to 11:30am*
- The Oaks clinic will not run on these dates in 2025: 9 April, 14 May, 18 June, 9 July, 13 August, 10 September, 8 October, 12 November and 10 December
- The Rowans on Thursdays - 9:30am to 11:30am

Understanding your baby (postnatal - 0 to 6 months)
Understanding your baby is an online course for families with babies from 0 to 6 months.

Baby PEEP - 10 week course
Baby PEEP courses are suitable for any family with a baby under the age of 9 months.
Baby PEEP is a course which includes talk times on supporting and enhancing child development. Each week you and your little one can enjoy:
- play activities and ideas
- songs and rhymes
- sharing books together
Courses run throughout the year.

Family play together
Session details
Drop-in play sessions for parents and carers and their children. Aimed at families with babies and younger children. Older siblings are welcome in the school holidays.
An opportunity to meet other parents and carers while playing with your children and supporting their development while learning through play.
Activities include indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, ending with song time.
Family play together at:
- The Oaks on Tuesdays, 1:30pm to 2:30pm
- The Rowans on Wednesdays, 9:30am to 10:30am

Messy play
Drop-in play sessions for parents and carers and their children aimed at families with babies and younger children. Messy play sessions focus on using your child's senses.
Messy play is at:
- The Alders on Tuesdays during term time, 10am to 11am
Just turn up, there's no need to book. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy in and something to clean the little ones with after.

Active play
Drop-in play sessions for parents and carers and their children. Aimed at families with babies and younger children. Older siblings are welcome in the school holidays - session timings may change over school holidays.
Active play sessions focus on indoor physical play. It will include games and activities to develop balance and co-ordination. A baby area is also available with sensory toys.
