Getting support as a care leaver

Becoming an adult and leaving care is a big step. The leaving care team is here to support you every step of the way until you're 25.

Whether it's finding a job, going into further education or support with your housing, we’ll help you along the way.

Your personal adviser is there to help you to prepare to live independently and to offer advice and support after you leave care.

Personal advisers should talk to you about what support you need and record this information in your pathway plan.

Your personal adviser can help you to find accommodation.

We will try to help you financially.

We want our care leavers to be active members of society.

Help staying healthy and looking after your physical and mental health.

We want you to succeed in your education, training and employment.
