We know that climate change requires urgent action from us all.

We have committed to being net zero by as close to 2030 as possible. To get there, we must all work together to reduce our emissions.

In 2024 we hosted our second climate summit. Over 140 representatives from local businesses, community groups, charities, schools and councils came together to speed up progress on tackling climate change.

We also organised a primary schools’ climate conference and a secondary schools’ climate conference. This was to inspire children in the borough to take action at school, at home and in the community.
