Paying your council tax

Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay. It is safe, secure and you can choose to pay on the 1st or the 20th day of each month. You can also choose to pay by 10 or 12 monthly installments.

If you are a new Bracknell Forest resident you will first need to set up an account. You can do this by completing the tell us you are moving form.

Standing order or bank transfer

If you wish to set up a standing order or pay your council tax by bank transfer, our bank details are as follows:

Post Office

You can make a payment in person at any Post Office. The barcode on your council tax bill can be used to make a payment. Just hand the barcoded bill to the counter assistant with your payment to get a receipt.

Payzone retail outlet

You can make a payment in person by cash at any Payzone retail outlet. The barcode on your council tax bill can be used to make a payment. Just hand the barcoded bill to the counter assistant with your payment to get a receipt.

If you wish to change to paying by direct debit at the same time please complete the pay my council tax by direct debit form instead and select the 12 month option.
