Keeping safe and well at home

Community Response

The Community Response is a network of local volunteers, managed by The Ark Trust.

If you are a resident in Bracknell Forest who:

  • is self-isolating due to COVID-19, flu or other infectious diseases
  • has a short term health condition or undergoing treatment that makes you vulnerable to illnesses for example chemotherapy
  • and have no local support available from friends, family or professionals

Our volunteers can support you with urgent prescription collection, short term shopping support and other practical tasks.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.

Dementia friendly Bracknell Forest

The council is working towards a dementia friendly place to live.

This involves creating a greater awareness of dementia. This is to help those with dementia to feel supported, valued and able to contribute within their community.

If you would like to help Bracknell Forest to become more dementia friendly, you can sign up to become a dementia friend or ambassador.
