About our community groups

Ardeleana Romanian Traditional Store 

Ardeleana is an independent shop in Bracknell specialising in traditional Romanian baked goods and cream cakes.

Berkshire Youth 

Berkshire Youth has been dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people across Berkshire since 1940. They provide a safe space with trusted adults, where conversations happen, and positive relationships develop. Berkshire Youth’s reach spans the entire county, offering something for everyone - from fun leisure activities to essential support services.

Braccan Walk Youth Centre 

Braccan Walk Youth Centre is set in the heart of the town centre, close to the train and bus stations. They welcome young people aged 11 to 19 from anywhere across Bracknell. The youth centre provides activities, support and information to young people and their families through case work and group sessions.

Bracknell Forest Council Fostering 

Bracknell Forest Council Fostering is the council's not-for-profit fostering service in Berkshire. Their foster carers help change the lives of children who can no longer live with their birth family.

Bracknell Forest Council Network – Happiness Hub 

The Happiness Hub is a collaboration of community-based services aiming to improve access to mental health support for people who want to make positive changes in their lives.

Welcome Spaces

The Welcome Spaces project has been set up to encourage community connection and friendship across Bracknell Forest. They select local activities for people to attend with no need to book. They aim for these sessions to be welcoming and easy to access.

Bracknell Forest Public Health

The Bracknell Forest Public Health team shares information and guidance on health and wellbeing topics, including local fitness classes for all ages and abilities.

Bracknell Islamic Cultural Society 

Bracknell Islamic Cultural Society is a non-profit organisation which has been serving the Bracknell Forest Muslim community for more than 10 years. They aim to encourage peace and charity by sharing the teachings of Islam.

Bracknell Open Learning Centre 

Bracknell Open Learning Centre offers a wide range of courses that provide qualifications as well as informal sessions. These include computer skills, arts, crafts, healthy eating and much more.

Children and Family Services

Children and Family Services at Bracknell Forest Council offer a wide range of support and advice to residents.

Forestcare 

Forestcare is a 24-hour telecare response centre based in the heart of Bracknell. They provide a range of telecare solutions to both individuals and organisations. Their dedicated team is available every day of the year to provide support and assistance.

Frimley Health and Care 

Frimley Health and Care provides help by bringing the NHS, social care, councils and other sectors together to work more closely with each other for the benefit of the communities.

Indian Community Association of Bracknell (ICAB)

ICAB is a volunteer, non-profit organisation with a membership area of Bracknell and the surrounding area. It holds regular sporting, social and cultural events with the aim of a stronger community.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) 

RBFRS provides prevention, protection and response services across Berkshire.

South Hill Park 

South Hill Park is the centre of the arts in Berkshire. It has 2 theatres, a dance studio, creative spaces and a cinema within the grounds of an 18th century mansion house in Bracknell. South Hill Park hosts over 300 shows, events and films each year, alongside a busy programme of over 250 courses and workshops. They will be talking about opportunities to get involved with the arts.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) 

TVP is one of the 43 police forces in England and Wales and is the largest non-metropolitan force. It covers over 2,200 square miles and serves the counties of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

The Wayz Youth Club 

The Wayz Youth Club is a safe and positive place for young people aged between 8 and 25 to attend and engage in a range of activities and opportunities. They aim to support and empower young people to direct their own personal, social and educational development.

Vsi Razom 

Vsi Razom is a community group, based in Bracknell. It is open to anyone living in the area who is a host or guest under the Government Homes for Ukraine scheme or family scheme. ‘Vsi razom’ means ‘all together’ in Ukrainian. They provide a hub that helps Ukrainian refugees find help, connect with their local community, and meet others in a similar situation.
