Residents are being invited to have their say on how effective our social media channels are in providing the news and information they want to receive.

Our new survey explores how residents prefer to receive council news and the channels they are most active on. The survey will run until Monday 25 September 2023.

Results from the survey will help inform the council’s communications strategy and social media strategy which are due to be published in 2024. Submissions are anonymous and details on how your feedback will be used is in the survey.

Cllr Paul Bidwell, executive member for economic development and regeneration, said:

“We understand that social media is one of the most powerful communication tools, it gives us the chance connect with our local community.

“We want to make sure we’re publishing news and information that residents want and need. By taking our social media survey, residents can give us their feedback that will help shape our new social media and communications strategies.”
