Bracknell Forest Lottery’s 100th good cause

Bracknell Forest Lottery is delighted to welcome 6th Bracknell Scout Group as their 100th good cause to sign up.

Bracknell Forest Lottery started in 2019 with 76 causes. Having gone from strength to strength, it has now has reached 100 causes!

The lottery supports a range of local good causes, including:

  • clubs
  • support groups
  • animal groups
  • sports groups
  • schools
  • pre-schools

As of January 2024, the lottery has raised over £140,000 for good causes in Bracknell Forest. More than 1,200 tickets are sold every week to over 600 players.

Bracknell Forest Lottery is designed to help local not-for-profit charities and organisations fundraise all year round. It is a safe, fun and effective way to raise money. Good causes can register by visiting the Bracknell Forest Lottery website or calling 01344 590321.

Once registered, good causes benefit from:

  • their own page on the lottery site
  • a no risk prize structure to help engage their supporters
  • marketing materials and support to help fundraising
  • a steady monthly income

Cllr Mary Temperton, Leader of Bracknell Forest Council, said:

“We are so proud of what the Bracknell Forest Lottery has achieved over the past 4 years. So many good causes have already benefited by signing up and encouraging residents to support them through their £1 tickets.

“By taking part, it is a brilliant way to give back to the community and support local good and worthwhile causes. You can see where every penny goes on the Bracknell Forest Lottery website.”

Bracknell Forest Lottery supporters have the chance to win weekly cash prizes. These include the £25,000 jackpot, which was last won in November! Tickets are £1 each, and 50 pence from each ticket directly benefits a good cause.

Currently there is a refer a cause campaign running until the end of March. Anyone who refers a cause to the Bracknell Forest Lottery will be put into a draw with a chance to win £1,000, along with a donation of up to £1,000 for the cause too.

For more information, visit the Bracknell Forest Lottery website. Participants must be 18 or over and should always play responsibly.
