First waterslide name revealed for Coral Reef Waterworld

The first of 5 waterslide names for the new Coral Reef Waterworld has been revealed.

Thrill seekers will be able to experience the choppy waters of the Storm Chaser, when the attraction is re-opened in September.

Marks & Spencer will become the first store to open at The Lexicon on Thursday 27 July at 10am.

Store manager, Tom Henderson, is inviting local residents to join his 125-strong team to celebrate the opening with a day packed full of treats. 

Summer reading challenge

Children can now sign up for this year’s reading challenge. The theme is Animal Agents, and features characters exclusively designed by the award-winning children’s illustrator, Tony Ross.

Your child can help the Animal Agents, a bunch of furry, slippery and 4-legged friends, solve a library mystery – with a huge helping of fun along the way!
