Park management
The hay meadow and woodland are managed to encourage biodiversity and to provide an attractive natural recreational resource for visitors.
Meadows are culturally important habitats that are vital for providing homes to wildflowers, insects, birds and mammals. They are best enjoyed during the late spring and early summer when they burst into life, with vibrant wildflowers and busy insects.
