Timescales
We try to register valid applications within 5 working days from the date of receipt. During times where high volumes of applications are being received the time frame for validation will be much longer.
The application documentation will be available to view on the online public planning register within 3 working days of validation.
We will acknowledge receipt of your planning application, giving you the date by which we aim to reach a decision.
If however, we subsequently find we are unable to reach a decision by that date we will write and inform you of the reason(s) and ask your agreement to extend the determination period.
