Planning conditions

If you have received planning permission which includes conditions requiring certain matters to be agreed with the council then you will need to apply to the council to discharge those conditions.

In some instances this will need to be done before you start what you have permission for. If you have any queries about when you need to apply, email development.control@bracknell-forest.gov.uk.

Applications to discharge planning conditions must clearly identify the relevant permission and the number(s) of the condition(s) concerned.

How to apply

Apply online

You can apply online through the Planning Portal.

Apply online through the Planning Portal

Check the standards for online submissions before submitting documents and drawings electronically. This includes the required files sizes and format. Make sure you go through the checklist before sending your application - most delays are caused by simple mistakes.

Apply by post

If you are unable to apply online, download the discharge of conditions form.

Fees

Each request should be accompanied by a fee of either:

  • £145 per request
  • £43 where the condition(s) relates to planning permission for extending or altering a dwelling house or other development in the curtilage of a dwelling house
