
Bump and balance offers gentle, supportive exercise for expectant mothers. With a focus on breath, pelvic floor strength and soothing movement to help you stay strong, calm and connected before and after birth

Mindful movement and yoga poses, breathing techniques, pelvic floor awareness and strengthening and guided relaxation.
Entry requirements
This is a non-accredited course. You will not get a qualification.
Material required for the course
You will need to bring:
- mat
- bottle of water
- cushion or pillow for relaxation
Teaching method
You will learn by:
- demonstration of adapted yoga poses, breathing techniques and positions for labour and birth
- verbal instructions guiding attendees safely into and out of poses
- using adaptations to address specific pregnancy conditions
- guided relaxation
- use of props to aid comfort
- sharing experiences with other attendees
How is your progress checked
Your progress is checked by:
- tuning into how you feel physically, emotionally and mentally
- greater body awareness
- reduced discomfort
- improved sleep
- improved flexibility and strength
- feeling more empowered about using movement
- breathing for labour and birth
