Motivation is behind everything we do and what we want. It is the “why” we do things (or don’t).
On this course you will learn what motivation is (and isn’t) and understand why it’s important. You will be able to state at least 3 ways to improve your motivation.

No prior knowledge, understanding, skills or qualifications are required for you to register for this course.
This is a course for personal development for those looking to return to work or for general learning and life purposes.
Material required for the course
All course materials will be provided by the tutor.
Teaching method
Learning will take place in a classroom.
You will work individually or as part of a group depending on requirements of the task.
Visual aids, discussion, debates and practical tasks will be used throughout the session.
How is your progress checked
You will be assessed by the tutor using various methods. This could take on the form of discussion, quizzes and/or games. You will also complete an Individual learning plan.
Assessment
This course is assessed through self-evaluation at the end of the session.
