A mind and body approach to well being

Explore the five Ways to well being while learning simple psychology tools and pain management techniques. This interactive session will help you feel more in control of your well being and give you practical strategies to support your mind and body.

At the end of the course you will:

  • understand the 5 Ways to Wellbeing and how they support mental and physical health
  • learn how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence pain and stress
  • explore simple tools from psychology and mindfulness to manage wellbeing
  • create a personal well being action plan to use beyond the session

Entry requirements

Learners must be over the age of 19 years old

Material required for the course

All materials will be provided.

Teaching method

This session will use a mix of group discussion, interactive activities, short presentations, guided mindfulness practice, and personal reflection. 

Learners will be encouraged to share ideas, explore real-life examples, and develop practical strategies they can apply in everyday life.
