This course helps learners review their skills, experience and qualifications, identify strengths and areas for development, explore career options, and create a personal progression plan with short- and medium term goals.
You will be able to:
- do a gap analysis on your own skills, experience and qualifications necessary for a range of different job roles
- identify your strengths and areas for development
- explore possible career options
- create a personal progression plan with short- and medium-term goals
Entry requirements
Learners must be over the age of 19 years before 31 August prior to the start of the academic year.
Other eligibility requirements may also apply.

Material required for the course
You will need to bring:
- information about previous training and/or courses attended
Teaching method
You will learn by:
- tutor-led teaching in a classroom environment
- individual help and guidance according to your needs
- practical activities to complete a workbook
- using appropriate technology tools to help you with your work
How is your progress checked
Your progress is checked by:
- completion of workbook
- tutor discussion
Assessment
You will be assessed by discussion with Tutor on a 1:1 basis.
