Entries for The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon are open as the race returns for its 41st year on Sunday 11 May 2025.

Organised by Everyone Active, Bracknell Forest Council and sponsored by The Lexicon, the half marathon is ideal for those looking for a new challenge.

The course will take shape as one large lap of Bracknell and we anticipate more than 1,000 runners to take part.

All runners will receive a finisher's medal, with prizes up for grabs for top finishers.

Mark Tennant, Everyone Active’s contract manager said:

“We’re delighted to be working alongside Bracknell Forest Council and The Lexicon again to host such a fantastic event.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming new and returning athletes of all abilities and we would love to see as many local supporters as possible cheer on our runners across the 13-mile route.”

Cllr Iskandar Jefferies, cabinet member for leisure, culture, public protection and democracy, said:

“It’s fantastic to see The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon back for another year. This event is a great opportunity for residents to come together—whether they’re running, cheering, or volunteering.

“On behalf of Bracknell Forest Council, I’d like to thank Everyone Active, The Lexicon, and everyone involved in making this happen. Your hard work and support are what keeps this event going strong.”

Tom Henderson, centre director at The Lexicon says:

“We are delighted to welcome the half marathon to the town centre once again.  It has proven to be a popular event not just for the runners but also the supporters too.

“I will be joining the runners this year, running in aid of The Lexicon Charity Fund and while the training schedule looks a bit daunting, I am looking forward to joining the hundreds of runners as they complete the loop around Bracknell.”
