Getting around in the lead-up to Christmas has just got easier with free single bus rides on selected weekends in December.
We are once again offering free single bus rides on Thames Valley Buses and Reading Buses. This time expanding the offer to both Saturdays and Sundays for the first 3 weekends in December.
Funded by the Department for Transport, this offer allows you to board a bus in Bracknell Forest for free. If you are travelling out of the borough you will need to pay for the return trip. You can enjoy this benefit on the weekends of 7 and 8, 14 and 15, and 21 and 22 December, regardless of your destination.
Seasoned bus travellers and newcomers are all welcome. Plan your journey at My Journey Bracknell Forest.
Andrew Hunter, executive director for place, said:
“We’re delighted to bring back this Christmas offering with even more opportunities for residents and visitors to make use of our bus network for free.
“This offer is a small way to help ease financial pressures at Christmas, while also making it convenient to shop, eat out or visit some of the fantastic venues across the borough. If you’ve never tried our bus network, this is the perfect opportunity to see how quick and easy it can be to get around Bracknell Forest.”
