Improvements have been made to bus services across the borough as extra services and stops are introduced.
The Thames Valley Buses Flightline 703 service, which connects Bracknell to Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 has doubled its service. Buses now run twice an hour throughout the day. This includes both early morning and evening journeys.
In addition, buses on this service running between 6:30am and 8:30pm now include a stop at Heatherwood Hospital. This gives better access for both staff and patients.
Three new double-deck buses will also be introduced on this route. These buses are equipped with high-back seats, dedicated luggage storage, wifi, and wireless charging, providing a more comfortable and modern travel experience.
These improvements have been made possible through funding from the government’s Bus Service Improvement Plan, delivered in partnership with Bracknell Forest Council, The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, and Heathrow Airport Limited.
Further enhancements include changes to the 194 bus service, which runs between Bracknell town and Camberley. The route will now divert through Buckler’s Park, bringing the service closer to residents of this new development.
