Have your say on our Local Transport Plan
You are invited to feedback on the new Local Transport Plan (LTP), which will guide transport improvements across the borough until 2037.
The LTP is now open for a 5 week public consultation. You can read the full plan and comment on it until Monday 30 December.
The new LTP focuses on making travel safer, healthier, and more sustainable. It aims to reduce car dependency, improve public transport, and support active travel options like cycling and walking. We hope these changes will help improve air quality, lower carbon emissions and create a more connected and inclusive borough.
As part of the consultation, events will be held at local libraries, allowing you to discuss the plan and share thoughts in person. Paper copies of the consultation documents will also be available at these events. Feedback from the community will play a key role in shaping short and long-term actions in the plan.
Cllr Guy Gillbe, Cabinet Member for Planning, Transport and Countryside, said:
“Our new Local Transport Plan is a chance to make a real difference to how people travel in Bracknell Forest.
“We want to make it easier for everyone to get around in ways that are better for our health and the environment. Residents’ feedback is vital in helping us get this right.”
