Entries are now open for The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon as it returns for its 42nd year.
Organised by Everyone Active, Bracknell Forest Council and sponsored by The Lexicon, runners will once again take to the streets on Sunday 10 May 2026.
The course will take runners on a single large loop around Bracknell, following a mix of roads, footpaths and cycle paths. Participants will also tackle a short stretch of grass, adding a small off-road challenge to the route.
All finishers will receive a bespoke medal, with prizes for top finishers and spot prizes allocated at random to runners as they cross the line during the day.
Mark Tennant, Everyone Active’s contract manager, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to deliver this much-loved event for the community once again. The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon brings people of all ages and abilities together, and we can’t wait to welcome runners back for what promises to be another fantastic race day.”
Cllr Iskandar Jefferies, cabinet member for leisure, culture, public protection and democracy, said:
“This is a fantastic event that brings excitement, action and joy to our community! Running a half marathon is a great achievement for anyone, whether they are experienced runners or novices. We are proud to be part of this annual event and I wish all participants the best of luck.”
Tom Henderson, centre director at The Lexicon, said:
“This is the ninth year that we have sponsored this event. Having participated in the race myself last year, I know first-hand what a great community occasion The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon has become. We look forward to welcoming both runners and supporters to the town centre again next year.”
Runners can register and secure their race bibs on the Everyone Active website.
