The final printed edition of Your Bracknell Forest, the council’s magazine for residents, is now being delivered to around 55,000 households across the borough. For many years, the magazine has helped residents stay up to date with council services, community news, and important local information.

Since it first began, Your Bracknell Forest (formerly Town and Country) has aimed to provide useful, accessible updates about everyday matters. Each edition has included information on council services, support for families, advice on health and wellbeing, and details of local events.
The decision to end the printed magazine marks a change. However, the council is committed to keeping residents informed, connected, and able to easily find the information they need to support themselves and their families.
To continue this, the council will share regular updates through its residents’ e-newsletter, Your Bracknell Forest Extra. Residents who sign up will receive:
- important service alerts
- news on local events and activities
- information about support for families, adults, and young people
- updates on improvements happening across the borough
- opportunities to get involved in community life
The council believes every resident should have clear and accessible information that helps them stay well, get involved in community life, and stay connected to local services. The digital newsletter helps to make sure this continues in a more sustainable way.
Delivery of the final print edition begins today. Residents who wish to keep receiving updates can sign up to Your Bracknell Forest Extra.
