Cllr Helen Purnell was elected leader of Bracknell Forest Council at an extraordinary meeting of full council on Wednesday, 25 March.
As leader, Cllr Purnell announced her new cabinet and their portfolios at the meeting:
- Cllr Helen Purnell - leader of the council and cabinet member for council strategy and communities
- Cllr Guy Gillbe - deputy leader and cabinet member for planning, transport and countryside
- Cllr Iskandar Jefferies - cabinet member for leisure, culture, public protection and democracy
- Cllr Ryan Frost - cabinet member for the environment and climate change
- Cllr Megan Wright - cabinet member for children, young people and health
- Cllr Paul Bidwell - cabinet member for adults, economy and regeneration
- Cllr Stephen O'Regan - cabinet member for finance and corporate improvement
- Cllr Georgia Pickering - cabinet member for housing and communication
Changes that need to be made to committees will be made at the full council meeting on 22 April.
