Refugee Week

This week is Refugee Week, the world’s largest arts and culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. This year’s theme is Courage.

To celebrate, the migration service have been hosting and promoting a range of events including an international community cooking event, mental health support sessions as well as a community film night.

Our children’s film night on Thursday, 18 June from 7pm to 9.30pm is open to all Bracknell Forest residents and will stream the film Valient. There will be a craft station, along with popcorn and squash for the children.

The events are being run in partnership with the Kerith Community Centre in Bracknell Town centre. For more information, please email: Migration@bracknell-forest.gov.uk
