Annual canvass starts for Bracknell Forest residents

Annual canvass letters will be hitting doorsteps across the borough.

We are asking each household to confirm who should be registered to vote at their address, adding anyone now aged 16 and new occupants, and deleting anyone who has moved out.

Details of the fifth and final waterslide have been revealed for the new Coral Reef Waterworld.

Maelstrom will be a slide of two halves, lulling riders into a false sense of security as they ride a raft on calm waters through a peaceful scene of changing colours and sounds.

The fourth of 5 waterslide names has been revealed for the new Coral Reef Waterworld.

Poseidon’s Peril will cast adrift even the bravest of riders on an epic adventure, sending them on a choppy descent towards the ocean floor, as they are drawn into the abyss of the slide’s iconic super crater.

A Level success for Bracknell Forest schools

In Bracknell Forest schools 463 students are celebrating a very successful year in their A Level examinations following the release of this year’s results.

According to provisional results released today, the overall A Level pass was an impressive 99.06% compared to the national provisional rate reported as 97.9%.

Third waterslide name revealed for Coral Reef Waterworld

The third of 5 waterslide names for the new Coral Reef Waterworld has been revealed.

The Cannon is a high speed, high energy slide that will shoot brave riders into darkness down the 67 metre slide like a cannon ball from a cannon.

The Lexicon springs into life

More than 150 local children, from primary and junior schools across the borough will make their own little bit of history when they officially open The Lexicon at 10am on 7 September.

The children will countdown to the opening which will be marked with a fanfare of green, gold and silver streamers and leaf shaped confetti, cascading across The Lexicon’s walkways and squares.
