The Lexicon to host first student event

The Lexicon is to host its first ever student event on Thursday 27 September 2018, in conjunction with Bracknell Youth Council.

As well as plenty of retailer discounts, visitors will be able to pick up a free bag of popcorn or candyfloss, have a go at the giant foot pool on The Avenue, or try to win the top prize in The Lexicon’s cash cube.

There’s more good news for town centre shoppers and visitors this week as, just days after The Lexicon’s first birthday, Bracknell Forest Council has agreed to freeze charges in its town centre car parks for the next 12 months.

What a first year for The Lexicon

7 September 2018, marked one year since the much awaited The Lexicon opened its avenues, walkways and squares to the local community for the very first time.

Over the past 12 months, The Lexicon has received more than 16 million visits, exceeding original expectations by a million visits.

Bagshot Road update

Bagshot Road southbound has now re-opened both lanes (Friday, 7 September). However, drainage works will still need to be carried out with lane one closures from Monday, 10 September. The lane closure will be during off peak hours between 9:30am and 3:30pm.
