Forest Festival launches wellbeing volunteering programme

A new Green and Active Heroes volunteering scheme is launching, as part of this summer’s Forest Festival. The campaign, being run by Bracknell Forest Council in partnership with Involve Community Service, will encourage people to get outdoors and discover the wellbeing benefits of being closer to nature.

Waste collections update

The waste collection crews have been working incredibly hard today and have completed all of Tuesday's work. They have also completed all of the food collections from today and will continue with the rest of Wednesday's work tomorrow.

Bracknell Forest Festival unveiled

Red alert for hot weather

The Met Office has issued the first ever red alert for hot weather.

Areas of Bracknell Forest are within the red weather warning area today and tomorrow with temperatures due to rise to up to 40 degrees.
