Grounds maintenance
We cut the majority of council owned grass and highway verges 15 times a year, between the months of March and October. Rural verges and dual carriageways are cut twice a year.
You can use our online form to report an issues with:
- a grass area
- shrubs, hedges and small trees
- hanging baskets or flower beds
Damage to grass area
Most areas of damaged grass will regenerate naturally. If you consider the ground to be hazardous use our online forms to report damage to a grass area.
If the damage relates to a grass verge please fill in our road repairs and issues form and select 'Damage to roads, verges, pavements and kerbs'.
For reports about damage caused by cars parking on grassed areas, please fill in the parking enquiry form and select 'Reporting issues concerning parking on a road, verge or pavement'.
