Building notice for window, door and rooflight replacements
For replacements, you need only give notice where the installer is not registered under the Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme (FENSA) scheme.
There is a separate paper form for a building notice window replacement application which should ideally be completed by the installer on behalf of the applicant. The form can be found on the building notice - view guidance and give notice page.
Important - If any structural work is included, such as increasing the opening width, replacing a window with patio doors, a building notice must be submitted.

Building notice for window and door replacements
