This report sets out an overview of the council’s performance for the second quarter of 2025 to 2026 (July to September 2025), the sixth reporting period of the 2023 to 2027 Council Plan.
The purpose is to provide the Cabinet with a high-level summary of key achievements, and to highlight areas where performance does not meet targets or expectations, along with any remedial action that is being taken. It complements the detailed directorate Quarterly Service Reports (QSRs).
The full suite of actions and indicators has been agreed as part of the production of the annual service plans, setting out key activities to deliver the council's strategic aims. This report relates to 2025 to 2026 service plans.
Section 3 of this report contains information on progress against the actions across the council for each of the strategic themes in the Council Plan, together with commentary to provide an update on progress and outline any delivery issues and risks.
